Legislative Zip Code Lookup The PSNA family of nursing professionals understands that every public policy decision made in Harrisburg directly impacts people and their families. When it comes to healthcare, new laws and regulations have lasting consequences for patients and their care.
In Harrisburg, PSNA isn’t the loudest or angriest voice. We don’t communicate with megaphones or organize sit-ins at the governor’s home. We advocate with professionalism, patience and vigilance.
Because we’re not a union, membership in PSNA is completely voluntary. Dues aren’t automatically deducted, and we won’t spend the resources of our members on political causes that have little or nothing to do with nursing. That’s our commitment.
Finally, it’s important to know that when PSNA asks our members to call, email or write the decision-makers in Harrisburg, it’s only after we’ve conducted a thorough review of the issue and assess its true impact. We never enter a public policy debate without being sure of the cause. That’s why PSNA is effective.
